I studied art history and art at the University of Maryland, graduated from New York Medical College, completed an Internal Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic, and practiced medicine for several years in Rochester, Minnesota, before retiring in 2002.
My art includes the ink drawings and storyteller figurines seen on these pages.
I also paint in acrylic and oil from time to time, some of which occasionally is showcased on this site.
My figurines and flat works have won several awards locally, and have shown at Gilded Star Gallery in Rochester, MN; Crossings at Carnegie in Zumbrota, MN; Jewish Book Center in New York City; and the Hopkins Center for the Arts in Hopkins, MN. They can now be seen at SEMVA (Southeastern Minnesota Visual Artists) Gallery and Radisson Lobby Gallery in Rochester, MN; Temple of Aaron Gift Shop in St. Paul, MN., and in private collections across the country.
